In addition to standards, ISA standards committees produce two types of related documents in their respective topic areas: recommended practices (RP in the designation) and technical reports (TR in the designation). RPs provide suggestions for addressing a topic or applying a standard. TRs provide information and guidance for understanding a topic or standard.
